The oldest Cubist building in Prague. It was built by wholesale merchant František Josef Herbst according to the project of the architect Josef Gočár. The Baroque statue of the Black Madonna with a child is a symbol, situated on the corner at the height of the first floor, behind a golden grille.
Permanent exposition of Czech Cubism from its beginning through its evolution, ending with the discovery of new poetics during the first and second decade of the 20th century (E. Filla, J. Čapek, B. Kubišta etc.).
