Rysov - castle ruins

GPS: 49°23'19.21"N 16°18'29.32"E

Description: The castle ruins can be found at the highest point of the rocky ridge, around which Bobrůvka Creek flows at the village of Skryje. The Rysov castle was built around the turn of the 13th to 14th centuries and was abandoned during the Czech-Hungarian wars of the 15th century. The only parts that are preserved are the moat that separates the steep top of the promontory from the fields and some glimmerings of rampart and fortress remains.
