Description: The monasterial chateau is from the 16th century and was inhabited by the Fictum and Thun families. Following an extensive fire in 1856 it was reconstructed into its present day Neo-Gothic form. The chateau is surrounded by an English park with 220 species of rare trees. The Sala Terrena is found within the premises, which has sculptural decorations from J. Brokof, plus the church of the Holy Trinity along with the Thun tomb and an observation tower.

Porcelain tour

Description:Exposition Of Czech porcelain from the very beginnings to the present in period interiors on the first floor of the chateau from the collections of the Decorative Arts Museum in Prague. You can see exhibits from manufactures of northwest Bohemia (Klášterec nad Ohří, Horní Slavkov, Kysibl, Březová, Rybáře, Stará Role, Chodov, Dalovice, Ostrov nad Ohří, Doubí...). Exposition of Chinese, Japanese and European porcelain from the 17th and 18th century, which is painted on with cobalt, green earth and various enamels. These halls are orate with stucco work from 1600.

Fairy tale land

Description:An exhibition of elves and monsters of Vitezslav Klimt and an exposition of marionettes of the Kopecky family are found in the chateau cellar. A commented tour for children and adults with stories and songs. The tour also includes a visit to the top of the observation tower, which provides a unique view of the city Klášterec and its historical centre and surrounding landscape with ruins.
