Description: | In the years 1694-1724 Count František Antonín Špork had a large complex of secular and church buildings constructed with the goal of creating a world-class spa. The stimulus for this project was the local mineral water springs. The fame of the Kukský spa lasted something over 30 years and ended with a flood that destroyed the buildings on the bank.
