Description:
Přemysl Otakar II founded the Cistercian Monastery in 1263, to somewhat restrict expansion of House Rosenberg. Later on, its monks significantly contributed to colonization of local region. The monastery was severely damaged by Hussites and its substantial restoration followed only in the 17th century, in the time of Baroque.
