Description: | The castle in Hluboká is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in our country. The castle got its current romantic form influenced by English Windsor gothic in 19th century. The castle had originally been a 13th century gothic stronghold which was later adapted to a renaissance castle and afterwards influenced by baroque style. The pastoral picture is completed by a large English style park. |

Kitchen
Description: | By the year 1857, the kitchen premises were equipped with highly up-to-date furnishings of that time, including window ventilations, two food lifts and a new pressure water-supply line, and the kitchen was already used for cooking. The kitchen was modernised during the rule of Prince Adolf Josef. The work rooms of the kitchen was divided into the Great or Warm Kitchen and the Little or Cold Kitchen. | ||

Chateau tower
Description: | It was newly built after 1847 on the sight of the original collapsed tower of the Baroque chateau. The neo-Gothic tower with battlements measures 52 metres from the courtyard, 58 metres from the lower parterre of the chateau park. |
