Lázně Toušeň is set in the flat countryside typical of Central Bohemia at the confluence of the Labe and Jizera rivers. The surroundings are known for their extensive forests, which are ideal for wild mushroom picking and walks. The two rivers as well as the Malvíny and Mezi Mosty lakes near Toušeň also make the area an excellent one for fishing. The pleasant atmosphere of Toušeň Spa Park is enhanced by the fragrance of evergreen trees and the peaceful atmosphere of the colonnade adds to the wide spectrum of curative procedures provided in the Peat Spa sanatorium. The Labe River Valley with many green areas is ideal for quiet walks for patients with limits as far as their mobility is concerned.
Natural curative resources
Locally dug peat rich in sulphur and iron.
Therapeutic specialisation
Musculoskeletal diseases.
Free time activities
We would recommend quiet and relaxing walks along the Labe promenade, cycling, mushroom picking and fishing, and comfortable trips by train or bus. The lowlands with their many forests and lakes are more suitable for people who prefer less demanding forms of holiday.
