Description:	The bridge was built by Czech entrepreneur Vojtěch Lanna according to the plans of architect Antonín Balšánek. It is 343 m long, 16 m wide. It was ceremoniously opened in 1901 in the presence of Emperor František Josef I. 18 historical cast iron candelabra (10 m tall) decorated with reliefs on their lower parts, stand out on the bridge.
