Description:	Latter day Augustinian monastery founded in 1350 by the margrave Jan Jindřich Lucemburg. The monastery church was to become the post-mortem monumental burial ground of Moravian rulers. The new three-arcade cathedral of St. Tomáš was built in 1665-75 according to the plans of Jan Křtitel Erna. The new high gothic monastery complex was built according to the plans of Mořic Grimm.
