| Description: | The ringed sundial is a work of the artistic blacksmith Karel Hůrka from Stránčice (near Prague). It was ceremonially unveiled on 28 October 1990. The number plate of the sundial is a ring set on a level perpendicular to the hand, and is designed as a free-standing work. The number plate contains Roman numerals from VI to XVIII. The sundial is made of steel, copper and other stainless metals. The base is made of granite. The sundial is 4 m high and 2.5 m wide. |
