Description:	Králický Sněžník is the highest peak (1,424 m) of the mountain range with the same name, which is also the third highest in the Czech Republic. The area was declared a national nature preserve in 1990. The name of the mountain is taken from the long winter period – the snow cover on the peak lasts up to 8 months of the year. From 1899 to 1973 a stone observation tower stood on the Polish side of the peak. Located here is a stone marking the meeting point of the Czech kingdom, the Moravian margraviate, and the Kladno earldom; by the foundation of the demolished lodge is a statue of a baby elephant. An interesting fact is that the sources of three rivers that flow to three different seas are located on Králický Sněžník. Lipkovský Brook to the North Sea, the Morava River originating on the south slope to the Black Sea, and the Kladská Nisa River to the Baltic Sea.
