| Description: | Originally the Cistercian monastery was founded in 1292 by Vaclav II. The burial site of the Přemysl dynasty was placed in the Gothic monastery church. In the 18th century the monastery was rebuilt according to the plan of Jan Blažej Santini-Aichl. Later on, the monastery estate was purchased by the industrialist Cyril Bartoň of Dobenín who rebuilt it into a residential chateau. |
