Restaurant| Description: | The original castle was probably built in the early 12th century in a strategic location – on the stony peak over the village of Zbiroh. Over the centuries it has undergone several structural repairs and its current form is that of a Neo-Renaissance chateau. In Zbiroh, it has belonged to a number of owners, including Přemysl Otakar II., and members of the Rozmberk, Kolowrat, and Lobkovic families. In 1912-1928 Alfons Mucha stayed in the chateau and created his famous work – the Slavic Epic. |

| Description: | The history of the Zbirož chateau from when it was established in the 13th century until the present. The tour also includes samples of findings from the castle well, a Mason room with Mason ceremonies and the monumental Mucha room, in which Alfons Mucha, a member of the Masons, painted his most famous work "The Slav Epic". Furthermore, you can visit the unique castle chapel, which is one of the oldest castle chapels in the Czech Republic. |
