Description:

Remains of a medieval castle on a promontory of the Bělá River, likely founded by the Půtov family of Častolovice at the turn of the 15th century. During the Hussite Wars the castle was a base of support for the Catholic forces. By the end of the 15th century the castle was already abandoned and from the 18th century onward it was referred to as Klečkov due to the seclusion of the site. Today only small remnants of the walls, moat, and ramparts are preserved.
