Description:
The chateau is located in the centre of the town on the site of the original castle from the 13th century. The structure was underwent substantial reconstruction at the end of the 15th century and in the first half of the 17th century. In 1840 a destructive fire swept through the town. The castle was destroyed to such an extent that it had to be razed, while the chateau was restored in the Classicist style. Colourful planet

Description:The exposition is situated in the ancient underground space of the former skullery. It is dedicated mainly to the geological evolution of the planet Earth in individual epochs and the Moravskotřebova region. Fossils and samples of minerals from all around the world. A part of the exposition familiarises visitors with mining minerals in the Moravskotřebova region. A quiz is also available on a touchscreen display.
