| Description: | The medieval stronghold belonging to the order of German Knights was reconstructed by House Kounic in Renaissance and later in representative Baroque style castle according to a project by B. Martinelli. In the 20th century the castle had to be reconstructed after being bombed in 1945. The interior presents period furniture and also an exhibition on the Napoleonic Battle of Austerlitz. The castle is surrounded by French garden and English park with pools and sculptures. |
