| Description: | The Hrádek u Nechanic Chateau was built as the representative summer residence of the Harrach family in 1839-1857. Serving as a model for the building was the unrealized reconstruction project for Crewe Hall in Cheshire, England dating to the 17th century. Along with the construction of the chateau part of the nearby forest was made into an English park; the remaining part of the forest was used to establish a game preserve and a pheasantry. |
