| Description: | The Chapel of the Holy Cross and a stone lookout in one was built on Hostýn (734m) by the foundation Matice svatohostýnská in 1897. Originally there was an observation turret on the rotund edifice named after Emperor Franz Josef I. In the course of time the turret was removed and replaced by an observation gallery, which provides a fine view of a large piece of Moravia - the low hills of Hostýnské vrchy on one side and the plains of Haná on the other. |
