Description:	The original lodge with a 6 m high observation tower was built as early as 1893. However, the capacity of the lodge was not sufficient and on the 70th birthday of writer Alois Jirásek in 1921 the foundation stone was laid for a 25 metre observation tower and a new lodge named in his honour; construction was completed within 2 years according to the plan by Dušan Jurkoviče. After reconstruction in 1999-2002 the facility once again serves tourists. From the observation tower platform there are beautiful views on all sides – to the Krkonoše Mts., the Krkonoše foothills, the town of Náchod, the Jestřebí Mts., the Adršpaš-Teplice Cliffs, Ruprechtický Špičák, the Orlické Mts., and Lake Rozkoš.
