| Description: | The vast rock city with a labyrinth of gorges and ravines is separated from Teplice Cliffs by Wolf Ravine. In addition to romantic walks among bizarre rock formations there are also boat rides on the lake among the steep cliff walls. Other features are the Grand Waterfall, a bust of J. W. Goethe in memory of the poet’s nature studies in 1790. Among the best-known rock formations are Lovers, the Mayor and His Wife, Sugar Loaf, Krakonoš’ Stool, Krakonoš’ Piano, and many others. |
