Description:	The lake Plešné jezero was created after retreat of a glacier in the rock basin under the highest mountain of the Czech part of the Bohemian Forest - Plechý. The glacier left behind a forty-meter frontal moraine and an impressive, 250 meters high lake cliff. There is a memorial to a writer and poet, a native to the Bohemian Forest, Adalbert Stifter, on the cliff edge.
