| Description: | The Gothic castle suffered several ordeals. Its taking by Danes in 1626 initiated construction of the largest fortification system in our lands. Despite all this the castle was taken again, this time by Swedes and dilapidated since. Its restoration started in 1945 and numerous historical events take place there at present. |
