One of the most valuable parts of Karlštejn is the Chapel of the Holy Cross - the very place of storage of Czech regalia and holy remains. Its gold-plated vault together with 129 panel paintings of Master Theodoricus make one of the best-preserved Gothic interiors all over the world.
