| Description: | Originally a 14th century chapel, which was taken over by the Jesuits in 1647, who rebuilt it into a sanctuary of such beauty that Svata Hora became one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in Central Europe and is one of the most highly valued building structures of Early Czech Baroque. It was declared a national cultural site. The sanctuary is perceived as a Marian castle. A silver altar made from Příbram silver is placed inside the chapel. |
