| Description: | Oppidum (a Celtic fortified town) is situated in an isolated place over the Chrudimka River, today over the Křižanovická Dam. It created a junction between the Vltava Oppida in Southern and Central Bohemia and between their counterparts in Moravia. Oppidum was, for the most part, naturally protected by steep slopes and the Chrudimka River; the remaining side was protected by a double, even triple in some areas, ramparts that are noticeable to this day. |
