Description: In place of the original Gothic castle was built a Renaissance castle of the Italian type. In the 18th century the castle had been adapted in Baroque style and deprived of castle walls and bastions. In 1945 the castle became the representative seat of the President Edvard Beneš. The castle garden includes many precious tree species and some of the oaks are over three hundred years old, the most important is the thousand year old oak.
