Description: | The minaret is perhaps the strangest of all the strange - i.e. uncommon in the countryside of Southern Moravia - edifices in the Lednice-Valticke grounds. They say that the building was built by Prince Alois Liechtenstein, when the local municipality refused to provide any land for construction of a church.
