| Description: | The large monastery is one of the most significant places of pilgrimage in Moravia. It was built in the late Romanesque style in 1240s. A part of the monastery is the Basilica of the Virgin Mary Assumption and SS. Cyril and Method. Current appearance of the monastery dates back to the turn of the 17th and 18th century, when a large Baroque reconstruction started. |
