The land of Smetana and Martinů

Description:	This programme is focussed on well-being and relaxing in places, where two of our most renowned composers were born and lived - Bedřich Smetana and Bohuslav Martinů. The programme is situated in the regions of Poličsko and Litomyšl, and the Czech-Moravian borderlands. Visit the renaissance castle grounds in Litomyšl, listed as a UNESCO heritage site, plus the fairytale rococo castle Nové Hrady. Explore the rock town Toulovcovy Maštale, take a look at its surroundings from viewing towers, and enjoy a birds-eye view of the town Polička, where the tower of the Church of St. Jacob's provides you with a view of the entire ring of the town ramparts that encircle the historical town centre. Take a walk through one of the most spectacular regions of the Czech-Moravian Highlands - Žd'árský Vrchy.
