Baldassare Fontana (26.6.1661 - 6.10.1733)

Description:	Italian baroque sculptor, who also worked in Moravia. He created a large number of valuable stucco interiors during his life. We can see his work in the monastery in Velehrad, or in Olomouc, where his sculptures decorate the Archbishop’s palace. He is buried in the Church of St. Vitus in Chiasso.
