Description:	Newly renovated Zbiroh castle was originally the first aristocratic castle in Bohemia, the first documents of its existence date from as far back as the end of the 11th century. There is also a medieval tavern, “At Rudolf’s Pleasure”, with its period atmosphere, interior and menu featuring original specialities. The castle also incorporates a large Neo-Renaissance hall named after Alfons Mucha, which boasts an original curtain crafted by this world famous artist who also stayed here for 18 years and painted his celebrated Slav Epic at the castle.
