Konstantinovy Lázně
A crystal clear spa

Konstantinovy Lázně is situated north-west of Pilsen 520 metres above sea level. It is one of the least polluted places in the Czech Republic. Mineral springs discovered in Konstantinovy Lázně have the highest content of free carbon dioxide in the country. The peaceful, family-oriented atmosphere, numerous comfortable spa houses, charming little pavilions housing the springs shaded by tall trees, as well as statues dotted around the park, all transform this already wonderful countryside into an even more magical and calming location. The local restaurants and cafes serve the local herbal liqueur, Konstantin, enjoyed by the famous Czech painter Max Švabinský during his stay in the town. You can buy it at the receptions in hotels Jirásek and Prusík.

At the spa there is a football pitch, tennis and volleyball courts, miniature golf course and bike rental and store (in the surroundings there are 80 kilometres of cycling trails). There are many hiking paths, nature trails and Nordic walking circuits with a centre hiring out sticks and providing lessons in Nordic walking. Spa visitors have at their disposal equipment for table tennis, a court for pétanque and curling alley. Ideal conditions exist for those that like picking wild mushrooms and fishing. There are cultural events in the spa almost every day, including concerts, meetings and different performances. Professional guides are at hand for outings in the surroundings. A new Wellness Centre was built in the summer of 2010.
